The purpose of the Sports Information office is to facilitate communication between the athletic department and its external constituents, increase the awareness of and interest in Seward County Athletics and to publicize the activities and accomplishments of the student-athletes, teams and athletic department as a whole.
All media requesting credentials to cover a Seward County athletic contest are asked to contact the Sports Information Office no later than 24 hours before the desired contest. Press credentials will be given day-to-day and season long depending on the situation.
Contact the sports information office for all player or coach interview requests. All interviews with student-athletes will take place during designated or scheduled times. Coaches and players will be available for interviews following practice or 10-15 minutes following a home match in the All-American Room. Out-of-town media wishing to interview Seward County student-athletes should also contact the Sports Information Office with their requests. Please do not contact a player or coach without scheduling an interview through the Sports Information Office. Interviews should be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
Only media with proper credentials will be granted access to the floor to photograph a Seward County athletic contest. Approved media members are welcome to photograph contests from designated areas, depending on the sport. Referees or the Sports Information Director has discretion to ask any media members to move to a different shooting location.
Requests for a photo taken of a Seward County student-athlete may be made by contacting the SID Office.
Media requesting statistics for any Seward County athletic contest may contact the SID office.
All Seward County athletic logos may only be used for athletic purposes. The “Head” logo is the official primary logo for Seward County Athletics. Logos are NOT to be edited without prior consent from the Athletic Director and Sports Information Director. High resolution logos may be requested by contacting the Sports Information Director.
