  • Lady Saints Lose First Match of Season
    February 16, 2018
    The No. 3 Seward County women's tennis team dropped their first match of the 2018 season on Friday (Feb. 16) losing to NCAA Division II foe Newman University 2-7.  The loss puts the Lady Saints at 3-1 on the season.
  • Lady Saints with a Winning Weekend

    With an undefeated Spring record so far, the Lady Saints continued the their winning streak against Central Alabama. The Lady Saints tennis team played at the Collin County Super Bash in Plano, Texas and on Friday and faced Central Alabama Community College. The Lady Saints were also scheduled to play two matches on Saturday against St. Petersburg College and North Central Texas College, but unfortunately those matches were cancelled due to weather.
  • 86 Saints/Lady Saints Earn AD Honor Roll

    The Seward County athletic department released it's semiannual Athletic Director Honor on Friday (Feb. 9), naming 86 athletes to the 2017 Spring list.
  • Lady Saints start Spring Season off right in Arkansas

    The Saints and Lady Saints tennis teams played at the neighboring schools of Henderson State University and Ouachita Baptist University Friday and Saturday with an undefeated Spring record so far for both the Saints and Lady Saints.
  • Seward County Adds Three Coaches to Staff

    The Seward County Athletic Department has announced the hiring of three coaches to the coaching staff.  Lachmond Bratton will be joining the tennis program as Assistant Coach, Chad Butler will be leading the SCCC Spirit Squad as Head Coach, and Parker Thompson will become the new assistant coach for volleyball.
  • Owen Accepts Southern Arkansas Job; Ashley Takes Over Seward Tennis

    Seward County has announced the resignation of tennis Head Coach Greg Owen after two years at the helm to accept the same position at Southern Arkansas University. Assistant Coach Chase Ashley will take over as the head coach.

    Following a successful fall season that led to two Saints going to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Championships, the Seward County men and women’s team proved that they are capable of competing with anybody.
  • Rodrigues signs with the Rockets

    After rocketing through the competition, the past two years, Thalita Rodrigues has signed to become a Rocket at the University of Toledo. She signed her Letter of Intent on Tuesday to play the next two years of her tennis career at Toledo.
  • Seward County Tennis Dominates at NMMI Invite

    The Saints and Lady Saints tennis teams played at the New Mexico Military Institute (NMMI) Invite Friday and Saturday with eight Saints and Lady Saints coming away in 1st place in their pools.
  • Seminole State gets best of Lady Saints at ITA Regionals

    The Lady Saints tennis team participated in the ITA Regionals this past weekend in Oklahoma City.  Three Lady Saints made it to the championship match, but fell just short of bringing home the title.
  • Lady Saints begin fall season in Tyler

    The Lady Saints tennis team began their fall ITA season in Tyler, Texas as they participated in the Tyler Invitational.  They finish with a combined 14-16 record over the two-day tournament.
  • Seward County Athletics to host Hurricane Harvey relief efforts

    With the recent developments in Houston, Texas and surrounding areas, the Seward County Athletic department will be hosting multiple hurricane relief events. The devastation has struck many current and former Saints and Lady Saints, therefore all monetary, non-perishable food, or other donations will be sent directly to former Seward students and their families. With help from the SCCC Booster Club, there will be an account set up for all funds to be collected and distributed.
