Lady Saints move into top 10 in national polls

LIBERAL, Kan. – For the first time since 2009, the Seward County Lady Saints volleyball is ranked in the top 10 in the national polls. Released Tuesday, the Lady Saints jumped two spots from No. 11 to No. 9.

The increase in polls comes after Seward went 6-0 with six sweeps over the past week. The Lady Saints currently lead the nation in kills per set (14.47), points per set (19.8), and service aces per set (2.92). They also rank 4th in the nation in assists per set (12.65).

The Lady Saints suit up again at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday (Sep. 13) in the Greenhouse against Dodge City. Seward then travels to Las Vegas to participate in the Southern Nevada Tournament to take on No. 8 Snow and New Mexico Military Institute on Friday (Sep. 8) before facing off against No. 10 Salt Lake and No. 14 Utah State-Eastern on Saturday.
