Seward County Director of Athletics Mike Davidson has announced that Seward County will welcome three new members to the Hall of Fame this year after Jamal Brown, Danny Vais and Joy Okpa each received enough votes to be inducted. Celebrating the 8th induction ceremony, this year’s class of 2019 brings the current roster of Hall of Fame inductees to 21 members and one team.
Friday marked a memorable night for many involved with Seward County athletics, but two cemented their athletic legacy by being introduced as the two newest members of the Seward County Hall of Fame. Tracy Wynn and Kelby Tomlinson took their place as the class of 2018 in front of friends and family that have helped them along the way. The duo joins 16 other individuals and the 2002 National Championship Team in the Saints Hall of Fame.

Celebrating the 7th induction ceremony, this year’s class of 2018 brings the current roster of Hall of Fame inductees to 18 members and one team. Volleyball player Joy Okpa also received enough votes to be inducted, but will wait to join the 2019 class so she can attend the ceremony.
Three familiar and deserving faces were inducted into the Saints Athletics Hall of Fame on Friday at the annual Hall of Fame Banquet in the Greenhouse as Softball great Courtney Auger as well as longtime supporters Bill & Virginia Colvin took their place as the class of 2017 in front of a crowd of 300.
