Lujan Earns 2nd KJCCC Pitcher of the Week Nod
For the second time this season, sophomore right-handed pitcher Michael Lujan was named the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference West Division Pitcher of the Week.
Lujan, a Grand Prairie, Texas, native, previously won the award in week four (2/24) and now wins it again in week eight.
He helped the Saints to a four-game sweep of the Pratt Beavers last week with a strong game one start. Lujan earned the win in game one as he threw 5.0 shutout innings in Seward's 4-0 win while allowing just two hits and striking out five to earn his third victory of the year.
